Hazard Predictions
- No known hazardous reaction
Aliphatic diazo compounds, especially diazomethane, are extremely reactive as alkylating agents and may react with esters in some manner to yield heat. However, no direct evidence of such a reaction has been found in the literature reviewed. Aromatic diazo and azo compounds do not appear to undergo potentially hazardous reactions with esters.
