All of our programs provide campers a strategical foundation to develop their skills in an exciting learning environment. We are dedicated to providing juniors (ages 8-18) a positive experience. Participants have the opportunity to receive excellent instruction from experienced coaches who make learning fun!

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas at Austin are
open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or
number restrictions as specified by each camp.
Camp directors, University of Texas Head Tennis Coaches Michael Center and Patty Fendick-McCain, have a wealth of experience in camp environments. They are dedicated to the task of creating a fun atmosphere and building young players' games based on their individual styles of play.
Match Preparation Camp: June 1-4 The Tournament Preparation Camp provides campers an opportunity to get them ready for the summer tournaments. This camp is after school from 5-7:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.
Traditional Camps: June 6-July 15 Our Traditional Camps provide campers with a fun filled week in which they are exposed to the latest cutting edge tennis training methods used at the University of Texas. Our special mix of instruction, team competition, and off court activities make these sessions ones campers will remember for the rest of their lives.
Quick Start Camps: June 5-July 15 New for 2010 is our half day Quick Start Camps for juniors between the ages of 7-9. These camps will provide novice juniors an opportunity to learn to play the game of tennis with equipment and
training methods geared to their size and ability.
Match Play Camps: July 18-22 The match play camp provides juniors an opportunity to develop their tactical skills. Drill sessions emphasis patterns of play to be utilized in match situations. Various types of singles and doubles
matches allow campers the chance to apply the University of Texas system of success to their own play.
Day Camp: July 25-29 The Day Camp is similar to our traditional camps without the evening sessions. All of our traditional sessions also offer a day camp option.
Team Camp: July 30-Aug 1 The team camp allows middle school and high school teams a weekend to train and compete together prior to starting the school year.
2010 Adult Programs
Summer Adult Camp - June 26-27 Coach Michael Center will offer a weekend summer camp for men and women with a NTRP rating of 3.0-5.0. Have a blast training with the USPTA Collegiate Coach of the Year.
